A mum of two boys who have the blood disorder haemophilia is taking on a once in a lifetime challenge to raise money and awareness for the condition which affects their whole lives.
Emma Hart of Chaulden, Hemel Hempstead, will trek across Iceland next July, and has already raised more than £1,000.
Her sons Samuel, seven, and Oliver, four, are excited to help the cause which makes them more fragile than other children.
Emma said: “I am very over protective, but I try to let them live their lives as boys should. I want to raise awareness of haemophilia because so many people don’t know what it’s about.”
