Herts crime commissioner’s £100k fund now open to worthy crime-fighting ideas

Community groups and businesses whose activities contribute towards crime reduction can now apply for grants from Herts’ police and crime commissioner’s second pot of funding.

David Lloyd’s Community Fund reopened yesterday and has a total of £100,000 to dish out.

In September 17 projects including Hemel Hempstead Street Pastors and Billy’s Wish received financial support from the fund.

To apply, fill in the formwhich can be found online at www.hertscommissioner.org by November 11.

Bids can also be submitted by email via commissioner@herts.pnn.police.uk, or in writing to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, 15 Vaughan Road, Harpenden, AL5 4GZ.
