A group of thieves stole cash and cards from two flats in a sheltered housing complex for the elderly in Tring.

Between 9.50pm and 10pm last night (Wednesday, July 6), two or three men wearing hoods got inside Emma Rothschild Court on Silk Mill Way by unknown means.

They used distraction tactics to get into two of the properties, telling occupants they were checking security due to recent robberies.

The crooks stole cash and cards before leaving but it is not known which direction they went.

If you have any information relating to these crimes, or to report suspicious behaviour in your street, call the police on non emergency number 101.
