Police shut the road for three hours

A missing 11-year-old boy was found safe and well by police yesterday after officers had to close a road.

Officers were called at around 3.15pm following concerns for the welfare of the boy who had been reported missing in Hemel Hempstead.

Part of London Road near the railway station was closed off to traffic while the search took place.

Herts police confirmed the boy was found at around 4.20pm.
