CCTV images of a hooded man have been released after hundreds of pounds of damage was caused to a police car in Abbots Langley.

Officers wish to speak to the man pictured as part of their investigation into the criminal damage incident, which took place in the police station car park in High Acres.

An object was thrown at the police vehicle – which was parked and unoccopied at the time – at approximately 2.35am on Sunday, January 11.

As a result, the light bar on the roof of the car was broken, causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage.

Anyone who believes they know the identity of the man, or has anyone any other information about the incident, is urged to call PC Paul Beecher on the Herts Police non-emergency number 101, quoting the crime reference number C2/15/59.
