Images of jewellery released by police following Bennetts End break-in

Pictures of jewellery stolen during a burglary in June have just been released by police in a bid to catch the crooks.

Among the items loaded into two travel bags and a pillowcase during the raid are two pendants and several watches including a pricey limited edition James Bond Quantum of Solace wristwatch.

Burglars struck at the house in Belsize Road, Bennetts End, Hemel Hempstead between 6pm and midnight on Saturday, June 29.

Det Con Paula Mowbray from the Hemel Hempstead local crime unit said: “I’d like to speak to anyone who has seen these items since the break in. Maybe you have been offered them for sale in suspicious circumstances?

“Anyone with information about the incident should contact police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference D1/13/3605. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
