Jewellery belonging to a burglary victim’s late husband was taken during a weekend break-in.

A Hunter pocket watch, Cameo brooch and Marcasite Rhodium brooch were taken during the burglary at a home in College Close, Flamstead, between 5.50pm and 10.30pm on Sunday.

Assistant investigator Lisa Walsh said: “Some of the items taken belonged to the victim’s late husband and understandably she is very keen to see them returned.”
