Ten year old Krystle Roxborough of Hemel Hempstead is going to have her hair cut off for charity.

A youngster who is fed up with her long locks has decided to get the chop while also raising cash for charity.

Ten-year-old Krystle Roxborough, of Parr Crescent, Hemel Hempstead, will have 12 inches snipped from her red locks and donate her trimmed tresses to the Little Princess Trust, which provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

She is also asking people to sponsor her so that she can raise funds for Tring’s Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care.

The big cut will take place at Michael Anthony hairdressers in Henry Wells Square, Grovehill, on June 1. There will also be a raffle and other fun on the day.
