The largest group to take part in last year’s Midnight Walk is trying to get even more people to sign up to Team Sarah Ketteridge for the 2013 event.
The 39 participants are taking part in the fundraiser for Northchruch-based The Hospice of St Francis in memory of mum-of-two Sarah, who died of breast cancer last year.
The charity cared for the 47-year-old in her final days.
Sarah’s sister-in-law Lisa Roper said: “The hospice staff cared so well not only for Sarah’s needs but those of her family and friends too.
“Nothing was ever too much trouble, so it was our pleasure to do the walk to help raise some funds.
“We are in the process of gathering the girls together again to take part in this year’s event.”
There are five- and 11-mile circular routes from Hemel Hempstead School at the Midnight Walk on Saturday June 29.
It is £15 to enter and you get a free pink T-shirt.
Walkers are asked to raise as much sponsorship as they can. Enter or learn more at www.stfrancis.org.uk/midnightwalk or by phoning 01442 869555.
