A children’s activity day will be hosted by the Box Moor Trust over the autumn half term holiday.
Aimed at primary school-aged children the theme is wicked woods.
There will be indoor and outdoor activities including crafts, games and walks at the Old Barn, Westbrook Hay, off London Road, Hemel Hempstead, on Thursday, October 31.
This is a drop in session so there is no need to book and parents can pop along with children between 10am and midday.
There is a suggested donation of £2.50 to cover costs.
Before this the trust is hosting its Wood, Wool and Food Festival on Saturday and the popular Conker Festival on Sunday.
Both events are being held on Blackbirds Moor, off St John’s Road with Saturday’s event running from 11am to 3pm and conker fun running from midday to 3pm. Both events are free to attend.
