A childminder kept youngsters entertained by challenging them with making fashion out of old newspapers.

Lisa Dussek collected copies of the Gazette and its sister paper the HeraldExpress for the fun half term task.

She was looking after four youngsters, plus her own two children at her Charles Road home in Hemel Hempstead during the school break.

Fay Wishart, eight, Anya Wishart, Lois Emery, Matilda Prout, all aged 10, Talia Dussek, 11, and Charis Dussek, 13 came up with the idea after seeing it on the internet.

Childminder of eight years, Lisa, said: “They did newspaper crafts when they were younger but they are taking it to another level now.”
