A 33-year-old man has died after emergency services were called to a flat in Hemel yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, July 27).

Police, paramedics and an air ambulance were called to the property on Lawn Lane at 3.50pm after reports of concern for a man’s welfare.

The patient had suffered a cardiac arrest but despite the emergency services’ best efforts, he died at the scene.

A spokesman for Herts Police said: “The death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been informed.”

The man’s identity has not yet been released.
