Man charged with wounding with intent after early-morning assault

A 23-year-old man has been charged and released on bail after an alleged assault on Sunday, police said today.

The incident happened in Farland Road, Adeyfield, Hemel Hempstead shortly after 6.15am.

An argument broke out between two men before one of them was allegedly assaulted.

The 23-year-old, from Hainault, Essex, has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He has been bailed to appear before Harrow Crown Court on October 16.

Police are now appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened, or has any other information about the incident.
