Man dies after concerns for his welfare

A man in his 40s died as emergency services responded to concerns for his welfare yesterday.

Police and ambulance resources including rapid response vehicles and an air ambulance were called to an address in Orchard Close, Bovingdon, to reports of a man in cardiac arrest shortly after 9am.

The man passed away and was taken to Hemel Hempstead Hospital, where there is a pathology department.

His family have been informed.

Police are not treating the man’s death as suspicious and details have been passed to the Hertfordshire Coroner’s Court.
