Man robbed by teens pretending to help with shopping

An elderly man was robbed in Hemel Hempstead by two teenagers pretending to help him with his shopping.

The victim was at Stoneycroft shops in Warners End last Thursday (September 20) at 11.40am when he was approached by the pair, who pretended to help with his shopping trolley but took his wallet from his pocket.

The two thieves are described as Asian males, aged in their mid teens with local accents.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them on 101 quoting crime reference D1/12/5793.
