PUPPY Max is hoping for a fresh start in life in the new year.
The border collie, only 13 weeks old, is typical of many dogs from a farm background and would not be suited to a home with small children.
He would excel at obedience or agility training with the right owner and needs someone with experience of this breed.
Lucy is an 18-month-old lurcher who was suffering from malnutrition and dehydration when she was rescued from Wales.
She is now back to full health and being looked after by a foster carer but needs to be permanently re-homed.
