A DANCER who made a miraculous recovery after being battered by a vicious attacker has returned to his former school to choreograph a work that will raise money for the rehabilitation charity set up by his family.

Doctors feared ballet star Jack Widdowson, left, would never walk again after his spine was badly damaged in a late-night assault in Cardiff last November.

But the talented 19-year-old Tring Park graduate is back dancing again.

He is now back at the school working with its Dancers’ Company on a piece that will feature in a show called Encore at Tring Park’s Markova Theatre on Friday, June 1.

The one-act performance will showcase the talents of the school’s sixth form students and will raise funds for Dance Again, the charity set up by Jack’s family following his remarkable recovery.
