Youth Across Hemel is starting a joint youth initiative called The Mix at St George’s URC, Long Chaulden this Sunday from 7pm to 8.30pm.

The aim is to bring young people from different churches together to mingle with peers and enjoy a packed programme of drama, video, games, cake, chat and music.

Free of charge, the youth event will be based on the theme Our Shape, and is organised by young people from South Hill Church, Adeyfield Free Church, St George’s, the Catholic churches and New Church Hemel. Comperes for the evening will be South Hill Church youth pastor Suzanne Shiells and school worker from Crossover David Cockayne.

Youth Across Hemel coordinator Lisa Dussek said: “I can’t wait to see what ideas the youth groups are going to be bringing to this quality event where we encourage one another and grow in God together.”
