A brave two year old from Hemel Hempstead who has already faced 16 rounds of chemotherapy in her battle against a rare cancer is being spotlighted by one of the UK’s largest and best-known charities.

Charlotte Sindall of Nash Mills has been chosen to spearhead a nationwide campaign by Cancer Research UK to encourage people to take on a running challenge and, in doing so, help fund research into a cure for illnesses like neuroblastoma, affecting the toddler.

Charlotte, known by parents Elly and Mark as Charlie, had been a normal, happy baby but suffered persistent colds and coughs which her doctor believed were viral.
