A disability charity that has expanded its services to open a seating clinic in Hemel Hempstead was visited by the town’s MP.

Mike Penning , also minister of state for disabled people, met staff at Hertfordshire Action on Disability’s head office in Welwyn Garden City.

But closer to home the group has recently launched a seating assessment clinic at the Social Centre for the Blind in Alston Road, Boxmoor.

Every Tuesday occupational therapist Jeanette McDermott gives advice to people considering specialist seating to make their life easier and remain living independently.
