Technophobes who haven’t quite got to grips with their tablets or computers can get free help and advice thanks to a Dacorum charity.
Dacorum Communities for Learning is hosting the sessions and will allow people to try out iPads and tablets in order to get a feel for them, or teach them on their own devices. There will also be an opportunity to find out more about the scheme’s low-cost courses for tablets, iPads, mobile phones and computers.
The charity’s Pam Moriarty said: “For technophobes it is an ideal opportunity to have a go without any obligation or pressure, especially as so much today needs to be applied for online.”
The free sessions take place on Tuesday, June 17 from 2pm to 4pm at Adeyfield Community Centre, and the following Thursday from 12.30pm to 2.30pm at the Boxmoor and Warners End Community Centre. There is no need to book. Call 01442 251930 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
