A contemporary and ballet dancer from Tring will audition for the TV talent show Got To Dance on Saturday, August 23.
Kaine Ward already has a lot of experience in dance from having starred as Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London from 2011 to 2013.
And if he can fend of all of the competition during Got To Dance, he will win £250,000.
He hopes that by taking part in the Sky1 HD programme – which will air at 8pm – he can encourage other boys to get into ballet and contemporary dancing.
He has been dancing since he was two years old and said: “My mum thinks I am a perfectionist.”
He won a scholarship to Tring Park School for the Performing Arts five years ago.
During the show, Kaine will be judged by Diversity street dance star Ashley Banjo, Australian actor and tap dancer Adam Garcia and American singer, dancer and choreographer Kimberly Wyatt.
He will also get to meet Davina McCall, who is the host of Got To Dance.
All contestants have to gain three stars to get onto the judges shortlist, from which Ashley, Adam and Kimberly will each pick six acts for their team. These are the acts they will mentor for the duration of the competition.
