It’s that time of year again for pupils anxiously waiting to hear how they got in their GCSE exams.

Year 11 pupils across Dacorum will be tearing open their envelopes to find out if they did well enough to make it into Sixth Form or college, or pursue their chosen careers in jobs or apprenticeships.

Nationally there has been a slight rise in the number of A* to C grades achieved by students, but the wider picture also indicates a sharp fall in GCSE English grades.

We’d love to hear your success stories and see the magic moments captured on camera – so please get in touch at thegazette@jpress.co.uk.

Youth Connexions personal advisors will be in schools across the borough to lend a helping hand, and will be available for phone and face-to-face help at their base in Hemel Hempstead’s XC Centre.
