A mother-of-two is preparing to fulfil her dream of running the London Marathon in memory of her late uncle.
Sue Cox, of New Road, Tring, is taking on the 26.2-mile challenge on April 13 in memory of David Draper, who passed away just a couple of weeks ago after a battle with cancer.
Keen runner Sue, 44, lives with husband Nick and children Matthew and Dani and has raised more than £1,400 so far for Rennie Grove Hospice Care nurses, who helped make David comfortable in the last months of his life.
She said: “I feel honoured to run for them. They are such kind people and it will be very emotional. I know it’ll hit me like a breeze block when I cross that finish line.”
