Sometimes having your birthday close to Christmas can be a bit of a drag.
But for two boys their birthdays on Wednesday are extra special occasions.
Sam Coker, of Hemel Hempstead, and Samuel Webber, of Tring, are both 12 – on the 12th day of the 12th month in 2012.
Skateboarding fan Sam, who lives in Grovehill, was even born in room 12 at Hemel Hempstead Hospital back in 2000.
Mum-of-three Kelly said: “We worked it out when he was born and we were like: Wow.
“It is a shame he wasn’t born at 12.12pm.”
Sam will be celebrating with a visit to the XC extreme sports centre with pals on Friday.
Tring School student Samuel, who lives with his family in Fields End, was a surprise early arrival for mum Jo because he was not due until Boxing Day.
Samuel, who was born at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury, said: “It is quite special actually. It makes me feel excited that this is my birthday.”
Mum-of-two Jo said: “We knew it would be a very special day on this year and it has come around very quickly.”
