A community group whose mission is to bring together people from all faiths is appealing for new members to help it grow.

The Dacorum Interfaith Network hopes to boost numbers and become even more divers as it starts to plan its annual Interfaith Week event in November.

Supported by Dacorum Borough Council, the Network promotes mutual respect, understanding,, trust and friendship between communities of different faiths, and everyone is welcome to join in its monthly meetings and events.

The group’s co-chairman David Lawson said: “The aim of ‘Interfaith 14’ in November is to bring all the different faiths in Dacorum together on one day, in one place, to share with others a little bit about their faith to help understand and accept each other and to help build friendships between communities.

“To really make it a success we need more people to come forward and share their faith with us.”

Email heather.holden@dacorum.gov.uk or call 01442 228782 for ways to get involved.
