A walk organised by the parents of a boy whose life was cut short by bone cancer to raise awareness of the disease were joined by another family that have faced a similar battle.
But unlike Adam Dealey who tragically succumbed to Ewing’s Sarcoma at just 10 years old, Bennetts End teen James Wigg has beaten off osteosarcoma - another form of bone cancer.
He was among walkers on Sunday who completed a five mile route from Langleybury Cricket Club to raise awareness.
Adam’s dad John said: “It was fantastic to have the Wigg family involved. They are just as anxious as us to raise awareness of bone cancer.”
