A GROUP of Morris dancers will be performing in the area this weekend as part of their annual tour.

The Greensleeves Morris Men from Wimbledon are one of Britain’s longest established Morris dance ‘sides’ and, along with three other ‘sides’ from around the country, will be dancing in pubs and centres across the Hemel Hempstead area.

Times for the performances on Saturday are:

>10am Marlowes pedestrian area, Hemel Hempstead

>11.15am The Three Horseshoes pub, Winkwell

>12.15pm The White Horse pub, Bourne End

>2.30pm The Rising Sun and The Boat pubs, Berkhamsted

>3.30pm Ashridge Visitors Centre, Ringhall

>5pm The Windmill public house, Chipperfield, and The Plough, Belsize

On Sunday, Greensleeves will process towards an open air church service on Chipperfield’s village green, after which individual and group dances will take place. The final performance of the tour will be outside the Windmill during the evening.
