A mother has paid tribute to her ‘bubbly lively girl’ after she was discovered dead.
Police were called to 15-year-old Jessica Cobb’s home in Gable Close, Abbots Langley, at 7.30am on Wednesday (January 16).
Officers are not treating the incident as suspicious but are investigating the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s death.
Jessica’s mother Paula Cobb said: “Jessica was a very bubbly lively girl with a cheeky grin. She was loved and adored by her two younger sisters. She was deeply loved by all who knew her.
“We are feeling overwhelmed by the messages of support which is giving us comfort at this time. We have lost a huge part of our lives and I have lost my beautiful baby girl who was also my sidekick. I don’t know how I am going to cope without her.”
Her parents have requested donations to an anti-bullying charity instead of flowers at her funeral, which will be held at St Saviour’s Church in Abbots Langley on Monday, January 28 from 11am.
A Herts police spokesman said: “The circumstances around the girl’s death are currently being investigated however we can confirm that no one is wanted in connection with the incident.
“It would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”
Hundreds of tributes have been posted on a Facebook page set up in Jessica’s honour called RIP Jessica Emma Cobb, never forgotten baby.
