Police have today charged Ian McLoughlin with the murder of grandfather Graham Buck, 66.
The charge comes after a nationwide manhunt to track down McLoughlin following the shocking killing of the family man in the quiet village of Little Gaddesden.
McLoughlin, who was picked up by police in Tottenham during the early hours of Wednesday morning, has also been charged with robbery and possession of cannabis and will appear before Hatfield Remand Court tomorrow.
Another three people were also arrested yesterday. Two of those - David McCollin, 50, of Ridley Villas in Hackney and Shirley Dean, 54, of Ermine Road in Tottenham - have been charged with assisting an offender. They will also appear at Hatfield Remand Court tomorrow.
The third person, a 45-year-old woman from Edmonton, has been released on bail.
