TV star Robert Lindsay was on hand to help present a new minibus to a special school in Abbots Langley.
The actor, who plays Ben Harper in the popular BBC sitcom, was on hand at Breakspeare School to deliver a new accessible minibus in association with charity the Lady Taverners.
The school caters for 64 pupils with wide-ranging physical disabilities and learning difficulties.
The new 16-seat wheelchair-accessible minibus, which cost £48,000, will provide much-needed transport for the school.
The Lady Taverners, which donated the minibus with Robert on July 8, is part of The Lord’s Taverners, a youth sports and disability charity that will donate more than £3 million this year.
Derrin Gill, director of The Lady Taverners, said: “The Lady Taverners believe that sport and recreation are essential for all young people, particularly those with special needs.
“This minibus will help the Breakspeare youngsters get out and enjoy new places and experiences. We are proud to support the staff, parents and young people of Breakspeare School, and thank the 100 Property Club for their fantastic support over the years.”
The 100 Property Club is a property networking group and has long supported the charity.
