Heaven 17 and Go West are the two latest acts confirmed as performers at next year’s Chilfest – and it will be held at a Tring location.

The music festival return to the same venue at Pendley Meadow in Cow Lane from Friday, July 4, to Sunday, July 6, in 2014.

It was held for the first time for two days in July this summer, attracting the likes of Spandau Ballet crooner Tony Hadley and teen pop sensations Little Mix.

But organiser Steve Butcher says the 2014 festival will be bigger and better – and it’s going on for an extra day. Plans are that the Friday and Saturday will be full of 1980s-themed acts and there will be a pop afternoon on the Sunday.

Heaven 17 – best known for the iconic 1983 hit Temptation – and 80s pop duo Go West are just two of the six performers so far announced.

Pop performer, ex-Neighbours actor and current star of theatre hit Priscilla Queen of the Desert Jason Donovan was the fourth confirmed Chilfest act to be announced on Wednesday.

Post-punk comedy vaudevillians Bad Manners, It’s a Mystery singer Toyah Willcox and Scottish rock band Big Country will also be appearing.

Tickets are due to go on sale in mid-January. Keep an eye on our website for all of the latest Chilfest news and gossip.
