A woman from Kings Langley has scooped the jackpot of £4,000 in the Hospice Lottery Partnership’s inaugural Summer Superdraw.
The Superdraw raised more than £44,000 for local hospices.
The Hospice Lottery Partnership shares the funds between six local hospices but also made some lucky people very happy last Wednesday.
The first prize of £4,000 was won by a lady from Kings Langley along with the 22 other winners of smaller cash prizes ranging from £50 to £500, some of whom have also donated their winnings back.
A £250 winner said: “I would be delighted to donate my winnings back – I support the lottery and its partner The Hospice of St Francis – hospices do such amazing work.”
Kerry Brown, sales and marketing manager at HLP, said “The Superdraws always bring in valuable funds for our Partner Hospices and raise awareness across their catchment areas.
“This draw raised over £44,000 for them and we hope the Winter draw will do just as well if not better!”
