A personal trainer is hosting a fundraiser at the gym where she works ahead of her 100-mile cycle challenge.

Elaine York is taking on the London to Surrey bike ride on Sunday, August 4 to raise cash for the Hospice of St Francis - a charity she volunteers for once a week.

But before she gets in the saddle the Boxmoor woman is hoping to boost funds by offering fun for all the family tomorrow at gym On The Limit in Western Road, Tring.

Running from 12.30pm to 3pm, there will be stalls, beauty treatments on offer at reduced prices, face painting for little ones, a raffle with lots of donated prizes, tombola, lucky dip and refreshments on offer.

And for those interested in working out a tabata class, which involves interval training, will be on offer from 1pm. It costs £5 to take part and lasts 45 minutes. To book a place call the gym on 01442 828881.
