Householders say parking problems are set to get worse under plans to change a family home in their Bennetts End street into a six-bedroom shared house.

Stan Bannister, of Six Acres, said: “There is nowhere to park.

“It is getting to be a real problem.”

He said there was insufficient space for all of the car owners and that users of a nearby
gym also use the street for parking.

Property owner Parminder Dost said cycle storage would be provided and that he would ensure that not all six tenants were car owners.

“I do pride myself on being a responsible landlord,” he said. “Although I do not expect any issues for the neighbours, I did give them my contact details just in case.”
