A FAMOUS darts player will be visiting after pub punters throw arrows around the clock for charity.

The Bell on Tring High Street will welcome Kevin ‘The Artist’ Painter on Sunday, after a 24-hour darts marathon.

He will play people who make donations from 5pm and mark the finale of the Tring Festival of Darts, held in memory of popular punter Gary Giddings, who died aged 45 from leukaemia in September 2009.

Money raised will go to Iain Rennie Hospice at Home, which treated Gary.

The darts marathon starts at 8pm on Saturday, with league players in unlicensed hours, and a bumper raffle and auction starts at 8.15pm on Sunday. To find out more, call 07961 159043.
