An award winning photographer with a passion for the countryside is showing her work at Kings Langley Library until Saturday, July 13.
Elizabeth Debenham started taking pictures with an old Kodak camera when she was a teenager.
Since then she has moved with the times progressing to a digital camera and after taking early retirement Elizabeth has had much more time to enjoy the countryside.
The Kings Langley householder was awarded second place in the breathing spaces category of the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition.
Her winning snap was taken during an evening visit to Aldbury Nowers. She said: “It had been a challenge to get the top of that walk but the jaw-dropping view was well worth the effort.”
Her image will be displayed with the other competition winners at the Bankside Gallery in London next week.
As part of the exhibition at Kings Langley library, in The Nap, Elizabeth is also selling greetings cards and postcards.
