It’s time for classic car owners to get into gear for the fourth annual Spirit of Dacorum tour, which is just weeks away.
The event, run by the Dacorum Community Trust, is the charity’s main fundraiser and continues to grow, with hopes to attract more than 100 vintage vehicles this year.
On Sunday, May 4, cars will set off from four points including Apsley’s Shendish Manor, The Red Lion in Water End, Aubrey Park Hotel in Redbourn and Tring’s Pendley Manor, where the historic motoring specimens will converge after a spin through the borough.
Last year, the day brought in more than £9,000 for the charity which supports organisations and families in Dacorum.
Event organiser and business development manager at the Trust Keith Foster said: “This our main fundraising event for the year and we would love as many cars as possible to join us on the day.
“The more the merrier - it is not just a source of income for the Trust but it is also a great day out.”
