RAF band drums up some legion support with Kings Langley concert

Two events are being put on in support of this year’s Poppy Appeal.

The RAF Halton Band will be returning to Kings Langley to put on a fundraising performance.

They will entertain at Kings Langley Community Centre, The Nap, on Friday, November 1. Doors open at 7pm.

Tickets costing £10 can be purchased from Doolittle Pets in the village High Street.

All proceeds will go to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Poppy appeal co-ordinator for the area Julie Barton said: “The Poppy Appeal helps, cares and supports in so many different ways to serving members of the armed forces, ex-servicemen and women and their families, now and for the rest of their lives.”

In Hemel Hempstead, an evening of clairvoyance is being held at Boxmoor Hall in St John’s Road on Friday, November 8.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for £12 from organisers at the Acorn Wellbeing Centre by calling 01442 500128, or on the door for £15.
