Preparations for the 45th Berkhamsted Walk are under way, and organisers have ensured each route has something new to offer for participants.

Youngsters will be kept running ahead to find the next clue in a specially designed quiz, while adults can enjoy the views on Sunday, May 12.

Sponsorship money will be donated to The Children’s Society, which helps vulnerable young people who face danger or disadvantage, and Complete Outdoors in Bourne End has donated prizes of £100 worth of goods for both the individual and group which raise the most sponsorship.

The longer Bluebell and Challenge walks start from the Court House in Berkhamsted between 10am and 11.30am while the Fun Walk from Ashridge College is from 11am to 2pm. Visit berkhamstedwalk.com for more.
