A ROTARY club will celebrate 75 years in a town with a bash attended by former Cabinet minister Cecil Parkinson.
The exclusive, invite-only event will be held in Dean’s Hall, Berkhamsted School, Castle Street, next month.
It will mark the 75th year of Berkhamsted Rotary Club and 25th of Berkhamsted Bulbourne Rotary Club, which consumed the older group.
Berkhamsted Bulbourne Rotary president Andrew Gray said: “The motto of rotary is service above self, and that’s what we work towards.
“We donate our time to earn money and make profit from does, functions and events to the benefit of principally local organisations.”
