Santa and his helpers will bring a sleigh loaded with festive cheer to the streets of Tring in the run up to Christmas.

In return for a wave and a special hello, he is hoping people will dig deep and make a donation to Rennie Grove Hospice Care, whose nurses will be working round the clock every day throughout Christmas, giving patients with life-limiting illness the choice to be at home with their families throughout the festive season and beyond.

And there is a chance to show your support by buying cards and gifts online or in Rennie Grove shops.

The cards depict local scenes in Hemel Hempstead and Tring and are available in the charity shops at 16 High Street, Tring and 239 Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead or online at www.renniegrove.org/shop

For the first time there will also be new items for sale in the charity shops including leather gloves, handkerchiefs, wool, socks, Christmas pudding and calendars.
