Do you know someone who helps make your community a safer, greener place? Then praise them for their work at Dacorum’s annual Community Champion awards.
The event, which is in its fifth year, recognises those who take pride in where they live and work to make their community cleaner and greener.
Maybe someone you know is committed to picking up litter, or you know of a Neighbourhood Watch group which aims to look out for others?
Green-fingered groups may have created a community space by planting trees and flowers, or helped friends to recycle.
Councillor Julie Laws said: “We’re keen to recognise your passion and your pride in your local area.”
Individuals can nominate themselves, another person or a group. To enter, visit www.dacorum.gov.uk/csgawards to fill out a nomination form. You can also request a form by calling 01442 228000 and asking for Clean, Safe and Green.
The closing date for entries is Friday August 9, and the chosen winner will receive a trophy.
