Green-fingered fundraisers will open the gates to their gardens in Tring in aid of Rennie Grove Hospice Care’s biennial Open Gardens scheme on Sunday.
This year more than 50 people across Bucks and Herts have signed up to the scheme and will be opening their gardens to the public.
Entry to two or more gardens on the same day is £5, £3 for students and under 14s free.
In previous years the scheme has raised more than £30,000 for the charity.
That’s enough to fund a specialist Hospice at Home nurse for a year, helping hundreds of families affected by life-limiting illness.
Rennie Grove community fundraiser Nicola King said: “This year we have more gardens than ever opening to the public and the scheme is running for longer than usual.
“So you have almost five months to enjoy fantastic floral displays whilst helping to support hospice at home care in your local community.”
Gardens in Dunston Hill, Park Road and Mortimer Hill will be open in Tring from 2-5pm. Four more gardens in Tring will also be on show from 2-5pm on Sunday, July 13.
