Food businesses that have a poor hygiene rating can attend safety improvement sessions next week.
Delegates at Hemel Hempstead Civic Centre will receive a certificate of attendance and a free goodie bag containing a probe thermometer, anti-bacterial probe wipes, paper towel and anti-bacterial cleaner.
The two and a half hour sessions will be held nextt Tuesday and Thursday as part of events to mark Food Safety Week.
Run by experienced environmental health officers, the improvement sessions will cover a range of topics including understanding food hygiene rating scores and how to apply for a re-rating visit and preventing contamination.
