CHEEKY volunteers have stripped down to the bare essentials to help launch the sixth annual Midnight Walk in aid of the Hospice of St Francis.

The charity has put out a call for men and women to sign up to the fundraiser on Saturday, June 30.

Setting off from Hemel Hempstead School, walkers can choose between a five-mile route or a bumper 11 miles.

Around 800 women and men took part last year and raised more than £120,000.

These volunteers in the buff, captured by Bovingdon photographer Jan Gilmore, are the faces of a poster campaign for the event with the slogan ‘Bring your own bottoms! We’ll provide the T-shirts’.

To sign up, which costs £15, visit www.stfrancis.org.uk or call 01442 869555.
