HUNDREDS of people turned out to enjoy the Wilstone Alternative Olympics on Sunday.

Almost 1,000 people came together to help raise funds for the upkeep of the village hall.

Organiser Jill Walker said: “We had the best turn out ever and the dog show brought in more than £200 compared to £50 last year.”

People took part in children’s bicycle decorating competition and a village photograph while the Hemel Hempstead Band as well as The Wilstone Showgirls joined by a Barry White lookalike entertained.
