Tell us why you love Tring to win dinner invite

THE Mayor of Tring is launching a competition for members of the community to win an exclusive invite to the annual charity dinner.

Councillor John Allan has set the challenge for people who live in the town to tell him why they love it and what would make it even better.

The information collected from the people could be used to help create and develop the future of the town through the Parish Plan.

The authors of the best two answers will be invited to the Mayor’s charity dinner at Olive Limes Indian restaurant on Thursday, May 3.

Mr Allan is planning entertainment, such as Indian music and dancing, for people to enjoy while they have a three course meal.

Eighty of the town’s dignitaries and supporters of the Mayor’s charity, Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter, will be invited to attend.

Competition entries must be no longer than 50 words and sent to Abena Bailey at The Gazette, 39 Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP1 1LH or abena.bailey@jpress.co.uk
