The back of his head has turned him into a local celebrity and now everybody wants to take his photograph.

But Bob Baker, 68, could expect little more after his daughters paid for him to have a tattoo of his 28-year-old wife lawn-mowing his bald patch for Father’s Day.

Bob Baker.

Bob Baker.

Bob, who lives with wife Kelly in The Rowans, Counters End, said: “People have been so happy and so friendly and say: ‘You are very brave.’”

The £60 tattoo was paid for by his daughters Lorraine Biswell, 38, of Marlins Turn, Gadebridge, and Tracy Khan, 44, of White Hart Drive, Adeyfield.

After the Gazette reported on Bob’s tattoo two weeks ago, he has featured in a range of national publications including the Daily Star.
