Toilets given a facelift in works programme

REFURBISHED toilets have been opened to the public in Hemel Hempstead town centre.

The Market Square loos near the bus station now have more efficient energy-saving equipment like hand driers and anti-vandal fittings.

They were closed for several months while Dacorum Borough Council carried works on lavatories across the area they cover.

These include the King George V toilets near Gadebridge Park, which reopened last summer.

Toilets in Kings Langley, Berkhamsted and Tring will also be refurbished at a later date.
